Russ has been in the software industry since around 2000. Married with two kids—a 15-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter—the Durrants enjoy an active lifestyle centered around their family cottage. With two dogs in tow, they spend their leisure time skiing, golfing, swimming, boating, and entertaining guests at their cottage.
When the they decided to enhance their cottage experience, they searched for a modern Bunkie for two or three months. “Our goal,” Russ said, “was to extend the living space at our cottage with something that could serve as an extra room for guests, complete with a bathroom. We also wanted the flexibility to convert it into an office and a gym when it’s not in use by guests.”
